A Walk Down Memory Lane?

I don't usually copy peoples blogs because I feel like I'm not original then but this looks like too much fun to pass up. I copied this from my friend Nat. Here are the rules.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember. If we are only blogging buddies, leave a comment about your favorite post of mine.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I will assume you are playing the game and I will come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play or don't have a blog, I will leave a memory of you in my comments on my blog. It is fun to see what people remember about you.

I'll leave a memory, but I'm not gonna participate. Sorry!I have more that one so that will make up for the non participation!! Okay, so there was this one time when mom out me in that elephant out-fit and I went with you to BHS...I think, for some cheerleading thing. Also when you were in Jr. High, there was this bring your little sister to cheer practice or something. I also remember when I'd put on that white with black polka-dot out fit and you'd curl my hair and take pictures. I remember when you and Jamie Menlove would use Trista's gel finger nail tips and I'd beg and beg for you to do my finger nails, but you didn't want Trista to know you were "using" it, so you never did! Then there was this one time when we went to go to movie, but they didn't change their info on the wesite and the movie ended up getting bumped, so we went and rented a movie instead. Okay, I'm done for real!

Wow Kimbie,

I don't remember most of that except the bring you sister to cheer day, which was actually a fundraiser little cheer camp we were doing. I also remember the polka dot outfit and curling your hair. Wow, I totally forgot about the movie that got bumped and we went and rented one instead. That feels like forever ago. LOL.

Okay so Kimbie, since you are not playing, I will leave a memory of you on my comments. I remember calling you with a toy that changed my voice and telling you I was following you and to meet me at DQ. I also remember when you were two and ran around naked outside all the time. Also, you used to make up words and now have passed those traits onto your lovely daughter. Then there was the time that I found you in the refrigerator with the door shut and freakin saved your life... you owe me big time. JK I could go on and on but I wont. Oh there is one more though, the time that we were supposed to go to a movie but the website didn't get updated and they bumped it so we went and rented on instead. LOL. Love ya.

Maybe that "refrigerator" incident is the reason why Kimbie's house is so cold! I get it now!

Oh wow, soooo many memories!! Mostly in high school, Junior prom our junior year, which I think was yours and Brad's 1st date??? We hung out almost every day for two years straight! It would be a book to write down all the memories but just being together all the time was great. I have some very fond memories of you.

I seem to remember a certain night the 3 "hoodlooms" showed up on my parking stip and started bustin' a move right there on my lawn. That was very entertaining. And I loved it.

hmmmm...let me see here...reviewing my entire childhood...um, i might just have to choose the time you taught me your sweet cheer dance and we walked down the street in preston during the parade doing our hip routine like we were part of the parade. um but i could also mention playingin the creek and making out with your friends and your amnesia and making you roll up your shorts shorter and going to school with you one day and trading outfits with you for a year and riding the bus to SLC to go to the mall and laughing over "stop your stomplin on my head" and of course - BAGOCK!!!! and seeing you in UT this summer and how that should happen way more often!!! love you cuz!

OK, it's one of my best memories. In high school we were at cheer practice and you got hit in the face with a flying cheerleader. That's not the good part. I took you to the bathroom to clean up your bloody face. Everyone else went home so I decided to walk you to your suburban. When we got outside you said "Oh, my mom must be here." I said "No, Ang. You drove yourself." You said "I can't drive! I'm only 15." Then you started freaking out. I had to remind you that you were 16 and had your license. You didn't believe me until I showed it to you and you freaked out more. So I drove you straight to the hospital. When we got there you started crying for Tiffany Brittan. Then a short while after she arrived by your side, you started crying for Chris Young, who you had a crush on at the time. I didn't call him. So obviously you had a concussion. The next day when I went to visit you, you kept saying the same things over and over. I'll never forget that fun day.

Cheers!
Melissa

Melissa,

Thanks for the memory. One of my favorite memories of you is taking big blue over the railroad tracks to see how much air we could get. Remember letting Tiffany out because she peed her pants? That was always a blast.

Yes, I remember that. Those were the days. I can't imagine my kids pulling the crap we did. Just desserts for freaking out our parents, I guess.
