NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK- NEW AGAIN?

So I recently learned that the New Kids on the Block are getting back together. What? I mean, does it really work when the boys from a boy band are now 40+ years old? I think that would mean that they are a man band? Right? Who wants to see that? Don't get me wrong, they were great in their time, but now? Guess we will wait and see huh? So if any of you closet NKOTB fans want to register and get on exclusive email lists among other things, I will include the link below.

I wonder what will happen when History repeats itself this time? Here is the link to check it out for yourself. www.nkotb.com

That is so funny! I think you must be in love with one of them. Why else would you post it on your blog. You're trying to play it off like you're just doing this service for THOSE OTHER boy-turned-man band fans out there in cyberspace, but really YOU think Joey McIntire and Marky Mark are the bees knees.

Hey Amy,

I think maybe you are the on wantin to love up on them. You seem to know them all by name. Did you subscribe yet to the exclusive email list?

I think I am safe...hated them then...hate 'em now. Except Mark Wahlberg. (all by himself)

Umm....Ladies! It was not Mark Wahlberg, it was Donny Wahlburg that was in NKOTB. Mark is the hotter brother otherwise known as Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch! Duh!

Unknown fact about my husband (he will kill me but oh well) NKOTB was his very first concert. His momma took him and his two brothers. I will let him know of the reunion. I am sure he will be way excited!

They make me wanna Jump, jump.... wait that was KrissKross. Oh yea remember how sweet they were.
That's right NKOTB was Hangin Tough... with the awesome hats and holey jeans. What rebels!

Okay, so my bad...Donny...yuck. He's the creepy guy on "Sixth Sense" who shoots Bruce Willis. Yeah...no bueno.

I never liked them. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. Angela Allen- That is hilarious! My first concert was The Bangles. Yeah. Sucky crappy boy band/sucky crappy girl band. It's all pretty much the same.

What is the NKOTB you all are speaking of? Sounds boring. Anyway, my first concert was Josh Groban... Grrrarrr! Muy buena!

Oh my! NKOTB was the second concert I went to in my life! (the first was TIFFANY!) I wasn't super into them, but all my friends were going so.....

Thanks for adding me to your friends list! You rock!

Oh come on you guys...didn't anyone else go see Shaun Cassidy as their first concert. (Did I just so my age?)

My First Concert was Richard Marx. OOhh.

Alisha,

Do you really not know who New Kids on the Block are?

Mmmm. Richard Marx.

Marci-
Hee hee!!! Tiffany. Remember she had that one song? How did she manage to have a concert with it? You know what's funny? I can't think of Tiffany without remembering the asfixiating smell of Debbie Gibson's Electric Youth perfume. I didn't have it but someone at my dance school always wore it and it was NASTY. I don't know why Debbie Gibson's perfume is permanently connected with Tiffany in my head but it is.

Good point Amy. What did Tiffany do at her concert just sing "I think were alone now" over and over different every time. She is like,
"Hey guys, this time we are going to do it acoustic, and next time we will use synthesizers."

Since we are sharing New Kids stories (that was the cool way of saying it...not NKOTB) let me share mine. I remember jumping on the tramp at my friend Eric's house and next door there were a couple of girls from school holding pretend microphones and singing New Kids (oOooooOooo - Right Stuff, oOooooOooo - Right Stuff). We started taunting and laughing at them. They started to cry and yelled at us.

Oh man...those are great memories.

Correction...there was no cool way to say New Kids on the Block.

Tiffany rocked! She did do "I think we're alone now" and "I saw HIM standing there" but I don't remember much else.... I'll ask my mom- she went with me! Oh and I was cleaning in my basement the other day and found my ticket stub- that's gotta be worth some money!

I saw part of a tv show once about The New Kids on the Block. I was amazed they found fame... and those clothes.
